All our walks take place inland, in the Camargue hinterland, far from the tourist trails. There, you'll encounter bulls, birds, salt marshes, and exceptional landscapes.

With Elise's Horseback Riding, you choose a small group ride, off the beaten track, and enjoy a friendly, friendly experience. You'll be accompanied by a licensed, passionate, and attentive guide.

The horses are respected, as is their well-being, two rides are organized per day, during the cooler hours.

The essentials to know

Our horseback riding tours in the Camargue are suitable for both experienced riders and beginners. Our rides are available in groups (maximum 8 people) or privately (between 1 and 14 people).

When booking, we will ask for each participant's height, weight, age, and skill level (beginner or rider). The maximum weight is 100 kg. The minimum age is 6 years old.

1-hour walk

Group Tour (€30 per person) or Private Tour (€210 per person for 1 to 7 people) – suitable for ages 6 and up – ideal for beginners and children – morning or afternoon departures available – one or two guides to accompany you

This one-hour tour will take you inland, far from the tourist trails, into a private estate. We will explore the marshes, getting up close to the bulls and birds.

This tour is an invitation to immerse yourself in the heart of the Camargue.

For two hours, explore the Camargue landscapes on a private estate. Marshes, bulls, and wild animals await you.

This tour offers an escape just 8 kilometers from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer!

Discover this lovely ride of approximately 15 kilometers. It offers an immersion in the typical Camargue landscapes, including the Petit Rhône, rice paddies, marshes, and bulls.

Throughout this ride, you will be accompanied by wild flora and fauna.

This day on horseback will depart from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer for a 30 km ride.

Morning: 3-hour ride to cross the Petit Rhône with a ferrata, pine forest, ponds, marshes, and rice fields.
Meal: on the Grand Radeau beach (Group: bring your own picnic or picnic provided for €15 per person / Private: meal included, barbecue on the beach) – swimming possible depending on the weather season.
Afternoon: 3-hour return walk, among wild flora and fauna.

Private Ride (€370 / 2 people) – Ages 8 and up – Ideal for beginners and children – Departures available morning or afternoon – A guide will accompany you – Available from February to November, excluding July and August

This ride is designed for two people, beginners or experienced riders. It offers an intimate experience close to nature. You will discover breathtaking landscapes and observe birds and bulls in their natural habitat: marshes, pine forests, and beaches.

This ride includes 30 minutes round-trip transportation by truck.

15-minute pony ride

15-minute ride (€10) – children under 6 – on the estate (Hotel le Mas des Barres)

Introduce your children to horseback riding with this short 15-minute pony ride. Your children will ride around the estate; there are no roads. An adult must hold the pony.

This ride is perfect for a fun day out in the Camargue!
