Full day horse ride

Full day horse ride at Saintes Maries de la Mer

Go on an adventure in the magnificent Camargue lands for a full day horse riding excursion to Saintes Maries de la Mer. The horse ride lasts 6 hours and stretches for approximately 35 km.

During this beautiful one-day horse ride, we will cross the little Rhône with Le bac du Sauvage. The Sauvage ferry in the Camargue is a cable ferry that connects the two banks of the Petit-Rhône near Saintes Maries de la Mer. The ferry allows the crossing of many horses and remains a must for a horseback visit to a manade and a private beach towards the Grand Raft area. You will discover flora and fauna typical of the Camargue.

Around 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. a stopover will be offered for resting horses and riders. The meal is done on the beach of the big raft (The beach of the big raft in the Camargue is a private beach.)

To be able to make this horseback ride to the Saintes maries de la Mer in complete tranquility, it is strongly recommended that riders master the three gaits (ie the step, the trot and the gallop).

The departure for the equestrian excursion is made between 9:30 am and 10 am of "The horse ride at Elise", the return is planned between 5:30 pm and 6 pm. We cross the little Rhône with the fer du Sauvage.
